Salzburg by night – a winter fairy tale

The city of Salzburg is not necessarily known for its snowy winters. But when it did snow, you can toboggan, build jumps and snowmen in the middle of the city.
Mozart’s birthplace has always delighted visitors, whether in summer or winter. A city whose scenery could hardly be more picturesque and becomes one of the most beautiful locations, especially in the cold season. Snow-covered mountains adorn the landscape, while the Hohensalzburg Fortress sits enthroned in the middle and makes the winter fairy tale perfect.
Austria is famous for its wonderful Advent markets and draws visitors under its Christmas spell year after year. Salzburg is a very special place, whose Christmas markets are not only among the oldest (since the 15th century), but also among the most beautiful markets in the world.
